Facilities at Mpunzi Lodge

Mpunzi boasts a conference centre that seats 20 people with ease in different configurations. It is equipped with flipchart, whiteboard and pens, overhead projector and screen, 72cm TV & VCR.

Game Lodge - WaterholeThe conference centre opens onto a kerrislat deck overlooking a huge water hole where game often quench their thirst after a hot day in the African bush.

While the sun sets behind the majestic Groot Winterhoek mountains, sip your sundowner and allow the peace and tranquility of Africa to fill your heart and soul.

The log lodge sleeps 16 people. To accommodate unisex groups, (male and female) the layout consists of 2 groups of 8 beds with en suite showers, wash basins and toilets. From the conference centre a paved pathway leads one over a romantic wooden bridge to the thatched boma and fully equipped kitchen.Game Lodge - Accomodation

If you prefer not to prepare your own meals, set menus are available on request and consist of traditional African cuisine including potjiekos, potbrood and veggies (in, under or over the coals).

For the more adventurous a braai in the bush camp is available (on request) and a spitbraai can be arranged (please book ± 6 weeks in advance).

The real Africa becomes a reality when, after nightfall, Coleman lamps and a huge fire on the paving in front of the boma is lit. If you've never heard stories being told, then you will hear them here whilst "moer" coffee and/or port will settle the stomach.

Enjoy the sounds of the African bush and then retire to the comfortable accommodation for a good night's rest.

Overnight visitors to bring own toiletries (towels & soap).
Linen is provided.
A R500.00 deposit (damage fee) is required when booking, refundable two weeks after departure
A fifty percent (50%) of total amount charged for bookings cancelled less that 5 working days prior to arrival.
